Started coaching Little League baseball during the summer in Boise around 1993.  Loved sports, loved playing sports, and really thought that all you had to do was to be good at sports in order to be good at coaching sports.  What I have found out over the years is this is not always very true.  You need to learn the sport way more than you knew it as an athlete. Be more dedicated, willing to be ridiculed and talked about, as you try to keep your morals and beliefs sound and, in the end, keep your sanity.
